A Successful Clothing Donation Campaign Led by Vice President Shayla Bergeron in Raleigh, NC

At Lyric’s Loft, we continue to be amazed by the passion and dedication of our team members, and Vice President Shayla Bergeron is a perfect example of leadership in action. In February, Shayla led a highly successful Clothing Donation Campaign in Raleigh, NC, where she collected and distributed 55 donation bags to support our mission.

Not only did Shayla take charge of the campaign, but she also recruited her friends, who are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), to lend a helping hand in collecting donations. Together, they worked hard to ensure that the community was engaged and that donations would help local families in need.

What’s even more remarkable is that Shayla took the time to connect with neighbors while distributing the bags, speaking to them outside their homes and sharing more about Lyric’s Loft and the importance of autism awareness. Her ability to foster these meaningful conversations shows her genuine passion for making a difference and spreading awareness about the cause.

It is truly inspiring to see Shayla's growth and leadership, especially considering her busy schedule as a sophomore at NC State College, where she is currently in the top 1% of her class. Despite her demanding academic commitments, Shayla continuously makes time to support Lyric's Loft and help families affected by autism.

Shayla’s dedication to this campaign and her ability to balance her academic and personal responsibilities are nothing short of extraordinary. We are so proud to have her as part of our team, and her work serves as a reminder of the incredible impact that passionate individuals can have on their communities.

Thank you, Shayla, for your hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Lyric’s Loft and the families we serve!
