💙 Catching Up with Our CEO: Preparing for Autism Awareness Month 💙

As April, Autism Awareness Month, approaches, we’ve been busy behind the scenes at Lyric’s Loft preparing to shine a spotlight on the heroes of this field. Our CEO and Founder, Siera Bergeron, has been hard at work finding meaningful ways to show appreciation for the professionals who make this mission possible—starting with our incredible Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs).

In recognition of their unwavering commitment, Siera personally assembled 100 goodie bags as a heartfelt token of appreciation. Each bag was filled with peppermints, chocolates, suckers, and a fun sticker to celebrate autism awareness and acceptance. While simple, these bags were designed to brighten someone’s day and remind our therapists just how valued they truly are.

Being an RBT is one of the most rewarding yet high-burnout careers in the human services field. With turnover rates reaching up to 75% in the first year, these therapists face immense challenges—yet show up every day with compassion, resilience, and the determination to be a voice and advocate for the individuals they serve.

They are the calming presence during meltdowns, the biggest cheerleaders for small wins, and the patient hearts behind every breakthrough. Their role is essential, and during Autism Awareness Month, we want to make sure they feel just how vital they are—not just to their clients, but to the entire autism community.

Because at the end of the day

“It takes a special person to understand what a child can’t say.â€Â đŸ§©đŸ’™

To all the RBTs making a difference.... thank you. Your hard work, heart, and humanity are what fuel real change, and we’re honored to support you through Lyric’s Loft.

Stay connected with us throughout April as we continue to celebrate, advocate, and raise awareness for autism acceptance and the incredible people behind the work.
