This week, I had the absolute pleasure of being the guest speaker at the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club’s monthly meeting! It was an incredible experience sharing about Lyric’s Loft, ABA therapy, my work as a BCBA, and the Miss Volunteer America Organization.
A huge thank you to Helen Zientek, Secretary of the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club, for the kind invitation and warm welcome! It was so special to reconnect with an organization that has played a role in my own journey. The Lake Norman Kiwanis Club sponsors the Lake Norman Builder’s Club, which I was a part of back in 2010 when I attended Lake Norman Charter Middle School! It’s amazing to see how their dedication to youth leadership and service continues to make an impact in the community.
The Kiwanis Club is a global organization committed to serving children and strengthening communities through volunteer work and service projects. Their mission aligns so well with the heart of Lyric’s Loft, empowering and uplifting others through meaningful action. Speaking to a room full of passionate individuals who genuinely care about making a difference was such an honor.
Beyond the inspiring conversations, they even gifted me the cutest tote bag as a token of appreciation! I’m so grateful for their support and excited about the possibility of partnering on future initiatives.
A huge thank you to the Lake Norman Kiwanis Club for welcoming me with open arms, I can’t wait to see how we can work together to create lasting change!
