Still Smiling from Dino Day: All In for Autism with Lyric’s Loft 🦖💙

Today was one for the books, and I’m still smiling ear to ear after an unforgettable experience at the All In for Autism Dino Day & Walk in Tucson, Arizona. Hosted by the Autism Society of Southern Arizona, this incredible event brought families, advocates, and organizations together for a day filled with joy, learning, and connection and Lyric’s Loft was so proud to be part of it.

We had our very own table at the event, and the energy was nothing short of amazing. I had the opportunity to speak with dozens of families about the mission of Lyric’s Loft and the impact we aim to make in the autism community by providing essential resources, gently used clothing, and a growing network of support across five states. One of the event organizers from the Autism Society even told me that our booth was one of the most popular all day, how cool is that?

But more than anything, it was the conversations that left the biggest mark. Parents and guardians opened up about the very real challenges they face and the resources they wish they had. We talked about how Lyric’s Loft can expand to meet those needs, and let me tell you the ideas and excitement we shared have me feeling so inspired for the future. We even ran out of brochures before the event ended, which was such a humbling reminder of just how needed this work is.

Some families had already heard about Lyric’s Loft and came up just to say thank you. Others asked how they could donate, volunteer, or bring a clothing drive to their own town. When I created Lyric’s Loft, I hoped it would grow into something meaningful, but seeing that dream come to life through face-to-face connection like today… that’s the kind of feeling that stays with you forever.

As we look ahead, I’m excited to explore all the potential new partnerships and volunteer opportunities sparked by today’s event. We’ve got big plans for Tucson and beyond, and this is just the beginning.
